I have played around with wiki's but, I only like getting stuff from the features. I signed up for a pbwiki. Guess what? I lost it. I have put Class Act on the favorite list for Balto. County. Hopefully this is correct.

At this point I am becoming overwhelmed, so many sites to subcribe to and too many names to register with. If you're going to use different names and passwords you would be wise to use the tracking sheet available to use. I know that I had registered for my del.icio.us account a long time ago. It was not on my blog. Why? Where was it? How did I loose it?
Notice the url is churchgirl1. I believe it was at this point I decided to stick with Class Act and simplifying what i do. All of these activities were new too me.

Week 9 Thing 23

I have finally completed my 23 things. I thought I would create a cake to celebrate.
I enjoyed playing around with the different sites. Yeah!Yeah! I did get carried away but learning should be fun. Keeping that in mind I had FUN.

Would I participate again for sure! I'm a Class Act!

To the awards committee:
I incurred several problems completing this assignment. I managed to get them done. Please take into consideration the time,effort, and headaches I got when choosing who should get a prize. You know who I am promoting "CLASS ACT" of course.

I visited the Project Gutenberg site to check out downloadable books. Since that capability do no interest me I did not try to download a book. Also the site did not include any of the authors I like; I thought it was pointless.

Winkopedia is said to be one of the largest user of Wikis. Below is a minature winkopea search box. Try typing in a search (i.e. love) it actually work.

I could not resist placing yet another thing on my blog. I placed a counter on the blog to see if anyone was actually viewing it. Then I realized that I did not know who the people were. Suppose they wanted to learn something from me? How would I know how to contact them? Well, my answer to both questions was to get a guestbook. So please sign in!!!

Week 8 Thing #19 2.0 awards

As you have noticed I like placing things on my blog. Here is one of the 2.0 award winning sites. Google has this gadget that you can place on your web page so that you can access a mini google search. It makes searching easier since the mini search is included in your blog. You don't have to go to the search bar at the top of your browser.

On the Merlin home page I saw an option to acquire widgets. I'm beginning to like placing objects on my page. Since I am a Class Act, I definetly have to constantly learn something new all the time. I decided to let Yahoo help me increase my vocabulary with this word for today widget. You can increase your vocabulary too.

My rollyo

I put the first rollyo on my page and thought that I may be able to return with the web sites I needed to include in my roll. When I searched google to get the web site address I wanted and tried to switch back and forth I would loose the address I would have prior to my next search. Then I decided to go back and create a new search that's why I have 2. I hope to figure this out. I need a prize any prize.

A rollyo is a tool that allows you to enter your favorite web addresses so that you won't have to enter them each time you visit. You can also share your rollyo with others who may have the same interest.

Week 8 #18 Online Applications Wordprocessing

Google Documents:

If I had known about Google Docs I would not have purchased a wordprocessing program that was so expensive. I notice that I can do the same thing with google docs. Look I can change the fonts: Jack and Jill went up the hill. ( Comic Sans). I can change the color of the text. They went to fetch a pail of water.

I was searching for one of my favorite authors Kendra Norman Bellamy. On her web site was this podcast. To upload it one of the search engines listed was Technorati so I used it to get to my blog.

Technorati is a tagging service which allows you to tag your post so that others can find your items faster and others can view your post according to the tags used that interest them. This post is a profile when you click on the profile line you will be directed to my technorati profile which contains nothing about me. Just know that I am not only a Class Act. I chose this podcast so that you will be able to listen to Technology news as it is updated rather than writing about something that interest me. I am so facinated by the things that I am finding while doing my 23 things. So click on a date and enjoy the podcast about the article you choose. The one thing I do not like about this podcast is there are not titles to inform you of what you are about to hear. Take a listen anyway!

This Avatar is the beginning of my 23 things fun projects. I already had a Yahoo account consequently, I did not have to register for an account. As you progress through these assignments you will find that you register for several accounts. It is advised that you take advantage of the sheet available for you to print and record your various accounts. Especially, if each time you register for an account; you use a different user name and password. Believe me after the first couple name changes you will forget!

Thing! The problem with this is how far to the right should you look? The one thing I do not like about blogger is you can not layout your blog like you would like. I thought you could manipulate the design even with a template. It looks like you can't. If anyone out there see's this please help me!

# 10 Online Image Generator

I am really having a lot of fun with the image generator. I found this light up Banner. The generator also had an option to have sound. I thought that it would be annoying to the viewer. so I will just return to the site to hear the thunderous applause that a Class Act deserve.

Week 5 : Thing 10

I have finally gotten my name in lights for everyone to see that my light shine. I thought creating avatars was great, but behold, I go t introduced to image generators. I have gotten so carried away with the animation that I have already created my completion sign. However, that will be a few weeks from now. Stuck on Avatars!

I'll be! It took a while to get this avatar from Meez.com. I dressed her up, nice dress, and great shoes. I thought she would do more than blink her eyes. Maybe she would move a little or do something to display that she was a classy lady.

Do not attempt to Explore Flickr unless you have plenty of time, you will be viewing images and pictures for a while. The images are used for the Avatars. Check out my Class Avatar. She's in a class of her own.

I have registered with Yahoo Avatar to create this picture (Avatar). It was like going on a shopping spree. I had fun trying on the clothes and choosing a background. It took me a while to go through the choices. I think that the pictures should be categorized so as to speed up the process. Fun, nevertheless!

The photos can be used to create a lot of creative projects.
I am totally amazed that I have made it this far.

7 1/2 Habits

Habit 5: Create My Own Learning Toolbox

Appears to be the habit that would challenge me the most. I have problems defining what tools would facilitate the ultimate results for achieving my goal. I see the first dilemma I face is to write out a plan. I realize that I fall short of this because I don't put into practice the lessons learned every week. I have the most effective tool available to me but, do not utilize it to it's full potential.
I have a manual that is fool proof. The following list is a small sample of the lessons learned:

write the vision and make it plain.
I can do all things
I am more than a conquerer.
